what is the deal with episode III?

I waited in line for 4 hours last night to see the first midnight showing of Star Wars Epidsode III. Lots of middle-aged weirdos in costume, really lame costume that looked like they used their mom's drapes. Well, I haven't yet decided what I think of the movie yet. I could talk about this all day. The dialogue was even worse than episode II. The story moved way too fast and they rushed over important stuff like the killing of all the Jedi and the love story which is pretty much what the whole movie is based on. They fluffed it out at the end and gave too much information we already knew from watch the original Star Wars. The duel scene between Anakin and Obi Wan was long and completely unbeleivable towards the end of it. What they did do well was the gruesome transformation of Anakin into Darth Vader. But Anakin was much too remorseful and moved over to the dark side for a more substantial reason, after all he kills off all his friends as a result. So the all anticipation was almost a total let down. I hate that it ended with a fizzle. I've been waiting for this episode since 1999 when the first one came out. I didn't even like Star Wars until they re-released it in theatres in 1997. Before that I hated Star Wars but those movies sucked me in and now I am a quasi-geek. The girl sitting next to me was actually crying when Luke and Leia were born, get over it freak, I mean I wanted to cry cause it was so disappointing. George Lucas let me down and I am going to write a strongly-worded letter... just kidding I am just going to blast his movie on my blog.
