my neck's got problems, yo
Went back to the chiropractor's and it turns out I do have whiplash in my neck and also my lower back is out of alignment! Who knew? Turns out that my neck doesn't have proper bend. My neck is pretty much a straight line which is why I got whip lash because I had not cushion when my head hit the head rest, according to my doctor. Now I realize that chiropractic's are on the low end of the respect totem pole but my doctor is pretty awesome. She did some more adjustments on my neck today. She cracked me from here until Sunday. Although my neck felt almost completely better Thursday after the first adjustments and an evening with an ice pack so I was completely surprised to find out how unhealthy my spine and neck are. I now have to go back 3 times a week for adjustments. My insurance only covers 20 visits a year but much to my surprise, State Farm called me today. Their Stephen's (the kid who hit me) insurance co. They asked me about my injury and made it seem as though they'd accept that claim as well as the damage to my car. They told me to go ahead and take my car in and once they get Stephen's statement they will asign liability and get my car fixed. WOW I didn't expect that either. Karen told me what pills State Farm was when she got hit a few years ago and so I expected the same since Stephen wasn't sited by the police. I assumed they would have us share liability and say that I backed out too fast for Stephen to see me in time. But it doesn't look like it's going to go that way. I'm not getting my hopes up but the adjuster did say the situation, as was her understanding, was that he was blinded by the morning sun and didn't see me in the street. That sounds as though he is going to take the responsibility. Let 's hope so.
I know I don't often blog twice in one day but I had a lot to say today so keep going down, you'll the first blog I wrote today.
