We had a great time in Vegas, as always. Chad and I went and saw Mysteré at Treasure Island and that was pretty sweet. Jen and I had a spa day and I put a bikini on for the first time in a year and not to toot my own horn but I was not embarrassed to walk around the pool, for the first time in like 6 years. The Belagio (my favorite spot) had a beautiful spring display (see pics below) made entirely out of plants and flowers and they also had an atrium with butterflies (I think atrium is correct.) The entire hotel smelled of spring flowers, it was so nice. We saw the new Wynn hotel and I didn't see what all the fuss was about. Not better than the Belagio in my eyes. After Mysteré we found the Carnegie Deli (like the one in NY and had dinner) then ended up walking back to our hotel cause we're cheap. It would have cost us $10 to drive less than a mile. I had no cash on me and refused to give in to the ATM bastards that wanted to charge a $4 service fee. Chad was running low on funds so we decided to walk as far as my feet would take us and somehow ended up going the entire way back. I walked in heels. I don't walk in heels, at least not gracefully or comfortably. Treasure Island is right in the middle of the strip and we stayed at Excalibur. The wind was also blowing like a motha and I had so much sand in my eyes and teeth you'd think I was an ostrich. It was Jennifer's bday on Tuesday. We tried to make it fun for her but I am an old lady and have no stamina for late nights or loud clubs. I hope I didn't ruin your day Jen. We all gambled a bit. I put in $40 and lost all of it as usual. I tried roulette for the first time. I tried the LOST numbers 3 times in a row and they dind't work and I was sad. All in all a good trip though. I love Vegas, can't wait to go back.
